Vicki Gerson is the president of Vicki Gerson & Associates, Inc., a public relations and print/web writing firm. She has public relations clients ranging from entrepreneurs to divisions of large corporations. As an award-winning writer, she receives assignments from consumer, trade and custom publications-here and in Europe-as well as from clients with specific writing needs. A large sampling of her work can be found on every Internet search engine.

Vicki started her career as a Chicago Public High School teacher. She wrote the curriculum for her limited reading students in her Community Civics class. After “retiring” from high school teaching, she become a professional writer and public relations consultant. Through the years, she has taught writing courses at Harper Community College, Oakton Community College’s adult education program and public relations courses at Roosevelt University. Just as Vicki’s goal has always been to educate her students and her clients, her objective during a speaking engagement is to educate her audience. “I believe it’s important for my audience to ask questions at the end of my presentation,” she says. “When I’m providing an interactive presentation, the audience provides input to help solve the problem.”

Vicki is an active member in the following organizations: Publicity Club of Chicago; Independent Writers of Chicago; Midwest Writers of Chicago; National Association of Women Business Owners; Northbrook Chamber of Commerce; Deerfield, Bannockburn, Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce and the Resource Group.
