Geared toward the newly diagnosed diabetic patient, this covers the basics of understanding and coping with the disease.
Lori Jayhan is an excellent presenter and health advocate. We have had her at our Diabetes Center for support groups. She is engaging but at the same time empathetic to our diabetes patients. She has wonderful ideas on how to stay healthy as far as exercising, cooking, substituting recipes, keeping blood sugars in normal ranges and how to avoid long term complications. Lori is great at answering questions and builds a quick rapport with her audiences. Lori is extremely inspiring to our patients and we are always excited for her to come back and teach us more.”

“It’s my absolute pleasure to recommend Lori Jayhan as a Diabetic Educator. I have known Lori for over 25 years. Lori has extensive knowledge and expertise in managing diabetes which she gained from her firsthand experience, coupled with her strong desire to continually learn.
Lori was instrumental in providing diabetic education to my husband, who was recently diagnosed with Type II diabetes. Lori’s counseling on carbohydrate intake, blood glucose management and diabetic friendly nutritional products that could be found at local grocery stores was extremely helpful to both of us.”
