Linda McCabe, President and Founder of Optimal Level, has set and reached many goals in her life. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Linda began her career in publishing, but eventually turned to teaching in Chicago Public Schools. After 15 years of teaching, she made a bold move to join her father’s business, H. Diamond Iron & Metal Co. Linda worked her way up, became President, and grew the business to $6 million in sales.  Following a dream, she sold that business and launched Optimal Level. From piles of scrap metal, she has learned a heap of lessons which have helped her dedicate herself to helping women discover their real life values, meet their goals, and follow their hearts.

Linda’s passion is working with business and professional women in the space of their dreams and aspirations.  She does this with her monthly facilitated meetings, forums for both men and women focusing on topics important to professional and personal success, and the Optimal Level Corporate program, working with women employees to address issues that affect their lives and work, and to empower them in order to make a dynamic difference within their organization. 

Linda is the co-author of “Optimal Level, A Woman’s Guide to Meeting Life’s Challenges.”  http://optimallevel.com/excerpt.htm.  She is a past winner of the Business Ledger’s Most Influential Women in Business as well as The National Association of Women Business Owners 2004 Member of the Year.  Linda serves on the Funding Committee for Center for Women, whose mission in to educate and empower women, nurture their creativity and expand their connections.  She serves as co-chair of the Deerfield, Bannockburn, Riverwoods Chamber Women’s Luncheon committee, and is a member of several associations and chambers such as DBR, Northbrook, Greater O’Hare, Woodridge, Schaumburg Business, and North Shore Professional Women’s Association.
