Banking- Loans Brent spent the first fifteen years of his professional career working in the banking industry. Beginning as a bank examiner for the US Department of Treasury, Brent then migrated into internal audit and loan review. He also served as the Bank Secrecy Act expert for First NH Bank Group in the early days of the law’s aggressive enforcement. Brent then moved into community banking where his accomplishments included building two credit departments from the ground up, writing two comprehensive loan policies, serving as BSA, CRA (where he guided a Harris Bank affiliate to an Outstanding rating) and compliance officer; and ultimately moving into commercial lending where for six of his last seven years he was the top new business producer. |
