Brian James is the founder and C.E.O. of C.E.L. & Associates, a divorce mediation firm with offices from the South side of Chicago to Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Brian was trained in conflict resolution while working with domestic violence families in the Criminal Justice System and he has over 10 years of experience helping people resolve disputes.

He started C.E.L. & Associates after seeing the physical, emotional, psychological and financial drain caused by divorce and litigation in the court system. He decided to changes careers and focus exclusively on assisting divorcing couples in end their marriage as amicably as possible. 

C.E.L. and Associates conducts mediations for all types of family disputes. Our mediation services are professional and maintain the utmost confidentiality for all our clients. We help people resolve their disputes in a non-adversarial way.

Brian is an active member in the following organizations: Association for Conflict Resolution (National and Chicago Chapter), Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, Mediation Council of Illinois, Wisconsin Association of Mediators, Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, Northbrook Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Gay/Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
